How we invest

We manage the path of risk, not the theater of prediction.

Markets rarely fail in one step. A supply shock changes inflation expectations. Rates alter funding. Funding changes liquidity. Liquidity changes correlation. We focus on that chain because the portfolio experiences the path, not the forecast headline.

01

Find the active transmission variable

We monitor how energy, inflation expectations, real rates, funding conditions, volatility, positioning, and correlation migrate through market prices. The objective is to identify which variable currently controls the loss path.

02

Select the cleanest tradable expression

A macro view is not yet a trade. We compare rates, curves, credit, commodities, equities, currencies, and volatility by carry, convexity, crowding, liquidity, catalyst timing, and failure mode.

03

Make survival part of expected return

Position size reflects uncertainty, correlation with existing risk, market depth, and exit quality. Material exposure must remain inside a visible drawdown budget under normal, weakened, and crisis conditions.

Professional trading

Research earns attention.
Execution earns trust.

Our process makes uncertainty visible before it becomes a loss. Macro reasoning, instrument selection, portfolio construction, and post-trade review remain connected so that every material position has an economic purpose and operational boundary.

Market thinking

We distinguish demand-led reflation from destructive supply inflation, and temporary volatility from persistent tightening. Similar price moves can belong to opposite regimes, so causality matters before direction.

Fixed-income discipline

We separate coupon, pull-to-par, roll-down, rates, credit spread, liquidity, financing, and realized credit outcome. Higher yield is useful only when it exceeds a conservative estimate of expected loss and uncertainty.

Liquidity-aware execution

Decision price, market depth, staged entry, hedge mismatch, partial fills, and exit conditions are treated as investment variables, not administrative details.

Position sizing

Initial size buys information. Maximum size requires confirmation. Crisis size reflects the exposure we can tolerate if liquidity falls before exit. Conviction without a reliable exit receives less capital.

Every material trade must answer five questions.

01 What is the active causal driver?
02 What has the market already priced?
03 Why is this the cleanest carrier?
04 What causes reduction regardless of P&L?
05 How does it behave under stressed liquidity?
Shareholder letters

The Next Ninety Days

A conditional operating plan balancing inflation, growth, liquidity, optionality, and capital preservation across market paths.

Start your financial journey

Four programs. One way to begin.

Choose the path that matches how you already work. Each program turns Vertex Macro discipline into a first ninety days you can finish: one market, one risk rule, and one review you can repeat.

For developers

Financial Cloud Cloud

Start by building. Learn how market data, risk limits, and execution logic live in the cloud so you write systems instead of guessing.

● Map a market-data → signal → risk-budget path you can run in the cloud.

● Encode drawdown limits and exit rules as code, not slogans.

● Practice liquidity-aware order logic and a post-trade review hook.

Upfront value. A cloud path that turns market data into a risk budget you can run, not guess.

For content creators

Financial Air Cloud

Start by explaining. Turn market complexity into public work that earns trust: letters, explainers, and research notes with a cause, not only a headline.

● Use the transmission chain so every story has a shock, a path, and a portfolio implication.

● Structure work like a shareholder letter: thinking, action, result, lesson, next decision.

● Separate evidence from promotion. Do not attach unsupported performance claims.

Upfront value. A public note with a shock, a path, and a portfolio implication—not only a headline.

For future traders

Trader Hub

Start by trading with rules. Learn to turn a market view into a sized, invalidatable, executable decision before you add capital.

● Write one view as observation, thesis, instrument, entry, size, and invalidation.

● Practice the five trade questions on a single market you can actually watch.

● Size the first position to buy information, not to prove conviction.

Upfront value. One market view written as a sized, invalidatable, executable decision.
